Template Thursday: 5 Versatile Templates to Choose From

image

It’s Template Thursday time!

In this weekly article we break down the new landing page templates put together by our UX team and designers.

This week I’ll be breaking down a few use-cases for each of these versatile landing pages. Remember, all landing page templates are just that, templates, and (just like your marketing strategy) they’re only limited by your creativity.

So let’s check out what was released this week…

“Canary” Landing Page Template

A few other ways you can use this landing page template:

  • This is an awesome squeeze page and would work very well for any course, ebook, webinar or whitepaper.
  • I could also see this page used as a resources or “case studies” entry page, in which the “how it works” section and the “free 10-part course” sections are switched and the icons replaced with brand logos. “About Me” would become “About Us.”

“Property Value” Landing Page Template

A few other ways you can use this landing page template:

  • This, like the page above, would work well as a PPC landing page for the real estate market. The form and value proposition “what’s the value of your home” works well as an incentive.
  • If you drop the top section (or at least the form element) this page would work well as an “about us” or “contact us” page as well. Duplicate the “Meet our team of realtors” row to add team members and change the “recently sold properties’ section to a “recent projects” or “recent articles” or “case studies.”
  • You could also use this page as a squeeze page. Remove the bottom section and change the headline to be the title of your ebook/whitepaper. Change the middle “meet our team” section to be the author bio and make the customer testimonial in the middle into a “featured excerpt” from the piece of email-gated content.

“Rosy” Landing Page Template

A few other ways you can use this landing page template:

  • A email-gated content page like this one also works excellently for webinars, courses and whitepapers.
  • The “what clients are saying” and “Quick Overview” sections would actually double very well for a simple product page as well. If you were to use this page as a product page, I recommend removing the fields and using a simple button to send visitors to your pricing page.

“Sky Blue” Landing Page Template

A few other ways you can use this landing page template:

  • This really is a foundation page, making it easy for you to adapt and improve. As it stands, I’d recommend this page as a landing page for a generic PPC campaign.
  • That said, it would be very easy to add a navigation bar at the top to turn this into a homepage or product page.

“Smartwatch” Landing Page Template

A few other ways you can use this landing page template:

  • I really like this simple landing page. The bottom image you may have to replace with your own, but Photoshop makes that white fade simple by selecting the gradient tool and applying a white gradient to the image layer from right to left.
  • This page would work really well for any mobile or browser app/plugin.
  • I could also see this page being used effectively for a pre-launch page, though I’d recommend that you add a single form field (email address) above the CTA button so visitors can “stay up to date with the release.”
  • You can always duplicate or add a section if you want to add a nav bar or other links (perhaps to a blog, about us, and contact us pages).

Wrapping it Up

Each landing page template we release is like the concrete foundation you place before starting to build your home. We give you the size and shape, but what you do with it is entirely up to you.
